New · The Big Animal Colouring Book

Big pages. Bold lines. Real facts.

Sixty animals, one per page, with a true fact on the back of every picture. Single-sided so felt-tips never show through. Made in Britain for children aged 4 to 8.

The Big Animal Colouring Book – cover showing a tiger cub hugging a giant crayon surrounded by animals

One picture per page

Nothing printed behind the art, so pens and paints stay where they're put. Tear a page out and the fact comes with it.

A fact on every reverse

Where the animal lives, one thing worth knowing, and a "now try this" prompt. Checked in the UK; polar bears are in the Arctic.

Three skill levels

Paw ratings on every page. Bold shapes for four-year-olds, more detail at six, a real challenge for eight and up.

Made for real felt-tips

Thick black line, closed shapes, a pen-test page at the front. Big enough for small hands to stay inside the lines.

Real pages from the book

Not concept art. These are four of the sixty, exactly as they print.

How a page works

Picture on the front, fact on the back

Every animal takes one leaf. Colour the picture, turn it over, and there's a short fact, the animal's home and something to draw or write. Nothing else is ever printed on the reverse of a picture.

About

Made by parents who read the reviews

Big Colour Books started with the one-star reviews of the best-selling children's colouring books: pens showing through, pictures too small, American spelling, nothing to learn. Every book we make fixes those four things. One picture per page, big bold lines, British spelling, and a true fact behind every picture, checked before it goes to print.
